Iraqi former MP Wael Abdul Latif has described on Tuesday the 2014 elections as the worst in the history of Iraq due to its falsification.
In a press conference, he called for electing the qualified and independent members and to refrain from electing the parties' candidates that failed to achieve Iraqi people's ambition during the past years.
On Monday, the Iraqi parliament has approved May 12 as a final date for parliamentary and provincial elections despite calls from the country’s Sunni community to postpone the vote.
Also, Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) has called on political blocs, coalitions, and parties to submit their lists of candidates between 4/1/2018 to 10/2/2018.
