King Abdullah II
of Jordan has reiterated his country's support for efforts exerted by the Iraqi
government to achieve development for the Iraqi people.
The king's statements came during a meeting in Amman Monday with the Iraqi intelligence chief Mostafa Al Kazimi, said a royal Jordanian statement.
During the meeting, the Iraqi intelligence chief, who is the envoy of Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Abadi, handed over a message from Abadi to the king to take part in the international conference which Kuwait will host on February 12-14 to discuss the reconstruction of Iraq.
