The Kurdish blocs on Wednesday refused the postponement of Kirkuk's provincial election and insisted to hold it on schedule, MP Mohammed Osman said on Wednesday,
Osman wished that all components of Kirkuk province will agree on a final formula on the law of provincial elections.
The draft provincial elections law still in the Parliament, Osman added.
Kirkuk's MPs will begin holding meetings and dialogues after the end of the legislative holiday to reach a consensus over the disputed points, he added.
Earlier, the Parliament postponed the vote on the draft law of the provincial elections until Kirkuk lawmakers reach an agreement on articles 37 and 52.
