The Qatari opposition is currently addressing Doha's attempts to disrupt the opposition conference which is scheduled to be held on Thursday in London, spokesman for the Qatari opposition, Khaled al-Hail said on Wednesday.

The conference planned to be held under the rubric "Qatar in the perspective of international security and stability" was placed under conditions of total secrecy, because of Doha's attempts to sabotage the conference and pressure members of the British Parliament to boycott it, al-Hail added.

The conference will be attended by a number of Qatari political leaders, academics and Qatari citizens to discuss the deteriorating situation of democracy, human rights, freedoms and combating terrorism in Qatar.

The conference is organized by a group of Qatari dissidents to find a solution for the current crisis, stability and security of their country.
