Six ISIS terrorists have turned themselves in to security forces in al-Salman village in left bank of al-Shirqat neighborhood in Salahuddin Governorate, a security source revealed Thursday.
The source said that after ISIS terrorists turned themselves in to the security forces, they have handed over their weapons.
He added that the forces are currently taking legal actions against the group’s terrorists.
Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that a large number of ISIS terrorists sneaked into east districts of Salahuddin.
In July, the Iraqi forces, backed by the US-led coalition, recaptured Mosul and recently retook Tal Afar.
Currently, the forces are preparing for storming Hawija in Kirkuk Governorate to recapture the city from ISIS terrorists.
