Over 200 workers from Caspian steel factory have gathered and protested in front of Takestan's governorate building.

The workers were protesting an arbitrary decision to fire half of the factory's staff.

In a press statement, one of the workers said that the factory's administration barred 100 workers from entering the factory, claiming that they lack funds.

He added that the factory has already not paid them for over three months.

He further stated that some of these workers have 15 years of experience.
