Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi accused several former officials in the government of creating ISIS terrorist organization, an official source close to Abadi said on Saturday.
He added that Abadi described them as corrupt and main responsible for terrorism in Iraq.
Earlier, Abadi launched an anti-corruption campaign, confirming that a large list of corrupt officials announcement will be ahead of the upcoming elections
He also has begun a series of talks and discussions with many countries and the Interpol to help Iraq in curbing corruption.
The counter corruption operations will include experts from the UN who are specialized in investigating financial fraud.
