Over 50 people have been arrested during protests launched in the northeastern city of Mashhad against Mullah’s regime, Press TV quoted Local Judiciary Official Hassan Heidari as saying on Friday.

Thursday’s protests had been organized “without a permit", claimed Heidari.

Police responded to the demonstrations and took 52 people into custody, he noted.
